Music Recital

Yesterday was B.J. and Shannons Christmas music recital. Shannon started taking Piano this fall from the same lady who teaches B.J. drums. It was her first recital and she was so nervous. Yesterday morning she kept telling me she had tickles in her tummy. She did great and I was so proud of her. B.J. also did fantastic. His rhythm is getting absolutely amazing. My nephew Josh also takes Guitar from her. He too is getting really good. Were hoping by this time next year will have a little trio. Anyway, bravo and good job!
P.S. Everyone was asking where we got Shannons gorgeous dress.....Dawns Bridal of course!

Oh, So Thankful!

I know, I've been MIA. I have so many pics and such to put on the blog. But, for today this will have to do. I have so much gratitude in my heart that I just feel the need to make one of my lists.
1.I'm so very thankful for my Job. I love my coworkers.I love the kids. I feel so blessed to find exactly the part time job I wanted when so many can't find work.
2.I'm thankful for Keiths Job. Again I just feel fortunate that we have income when so many do not.
3.I'm so thankful for our Home. It's not big.It's not fancy. But, it's ours. It's a home full of safety and love.
4. I'm thankful for my extended family. I have such a wonderful and close family. Mom,Dad,brothers,sis in laws,cousins,aunts,uncles,Grandparents,neices,nephews. I love you all.
5. I'm thankful for our extraordinary children. They never cease to surprise and amaze me. What a mighty blessing to be their Mommy.:)
6. I'm thankful for the little things. A good movie, laughing, a warm bath, a warm bed. All the things that make life a little extra bright.
7. I'm thankful for Music. I'm listening to Christmas Music as I type this.
8. I'm thankful for our Pets. I love animals. Most especially our Cats.
9. I am thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It keeps me grounded, it keeps me strong. It keeps me sane.
10. I'm thankful for my friends. I have always been blessed with good friends. So many are like family to me.
11. Most of all I am thankful beyond all thankfulness that this year, my husband will be seated next to me at the dinner table!!!!!!!
